Why EnjAIra? · EnjAIra
On the big streaming platforms, algorithms decide almost everything.
Which music gets accepted, which gets promoted, which gets paid: none of these decisions comes from listening. They follow profit calculations and regulatory constraints, never the musical merit of a track.
These platforms are overwhelmed. Deezer alone says it receives nearly 90,000 fully AI-generated tracks every day, more than half of its new releases on some days. And those tracks are not just for Deezer: a single delivery sends them to every other platform too. The senders’ arithmetic is simple: a play earns a fraction of a cent, so they pour out thousands of tracks on an assembly line. Source: Deezer, 21 July 2026
Let’s be honest, though: humans didn’t wait for AI to produce tracks of no interest whatsoever. Conversely, artists, professional or not, use AI to bring wonderful ideas to life. Those artists end up drowned in the flood, then labelled, sidelined and pushed out of recommendations by anti-AI filters.
EnjAIra’s answer fits in one sentence: here, every choice is made by humans, the old-fashioned way, with our ears and with our guts. So there is no way we can take in thousands of tracks a day: we only publish what we love, like a radio station’s programming committee.
No software screens our tracks. Real people listen, like it or don’t, and stand by their choices, with all the strengths and flaws that implies.
Nor do we join the debate over whether it is acceptable to use AI to make music. Only one thing matters to us: listening to the result first.
With or without AI? We don’t care. With or without heart: that is what we are looking for.
